Once back in Wakiso after the camp in the village of Monde, WE AfriHug team started preparing the next seminar at Kyambogo University on the 30th and 31st of January.
Together in Monde
After the experience in Kisumu, WE AfriHug team went on with the project and continued its path in Eastern Africa, moving to Uganda. In Wakiso, they were hosted by Father Antonios of Monde, the inspirational priest, who has been devoting his life in empowering local communities in Uganda. Our next activity: 3-day 21st Century Life Skills Camp.
21st Century Skills Training Seminar for Youth empowerment in Kisumu
Following the visit to Kenyatta University in Nairobi, WE AfriHug team moved to Kisumu, the third largest Kenyan city.
In partnership with the local NGO Resource Hub for Development – RHD, the team had the chance to interact with the students of Nyamasaria Secondary School, in order to implement the 21st Century Skills Training Seminar to empower local youth.

Kenyatta University training seminar
After the first meeting in Tanzania, WE AfriHug team headed to Kenya, in Nairobi with the aim to conduct the second Training Seminar at Kenyatta University.

2-day Training Seminar in University of Dar es Salaam
WE AfriHug team landed in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on 31st of December.
The ambassador of WE AfriHug in Tanzania, Stephen Ntinginya Choi, welcomed and hosted the team. After a lot of online meetings and discussions, it was now time for Stephen to interact with the team and for the team to get integrated into the dialy life of Dar Es Salaam before the training seminar at UDSM.
